'Bond 25' · the new 007 film: First on-set video footage from the shoot in Jamaica

June 25, 2019 - The production company behind "Bond 25", the 25th installment of the James Bond 007 saga, today presented the first video footage of the shoot in Jamaica.

The film, directed by Californian Cari Joji Fukunaga (Maniac, True Detective, Beasts of no Nation) and produced by Michel G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, begins with Bond (Daniel Craig) enjoying a quiet life in Jamaica after having left active service. But his peace proves to be short-lived when his old friend of the CIA, Felix Leiter (Jeffrey Wright), turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be much more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain (Rami Malek) armed with a new and dangerous technology.

Announced as the last 007 film featuring Daniel Craig as James Bond, the cast includes Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Rory Kinnear, Léa Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Jeffrey Wright, Ana de Armas, Dali Benssalah, David Dencik, Lashana Lynch, Billy Magnussen and Rami Malek.

"Bond 25" is scheduled to open in Spain on April 2, 2020, followed by the United Kingdom (on the 3rd), and the USA (on the 8th). For the premiere date in your city check your local listings.
