Sandra Bullock, Jodie Foster, Hugh Grant, Ethan Hawke, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Kingsley, Ali MacGraw, Ryan O'Neal, Ryan Phillippe, Will Smith, Sharon Stone, Naomi Watts and Reese Witherspoon will join the galaxy of star presenters at the 74th Academy Awards®, producer Laura Ziskin announced today.

Paul McCartney is set to make his Oscar® performance debut at the 74th Academy Awards®.

He will sing his song "Vanilla Sky," the title track for the Paramount film of the same name, for which he is nominated in the Original Song category. He was nominated in 1973 for the title song "Live and Let Die," for the now classic Bond film and won an Oscar in 1970 with The Beatles for "Let It Be."

Immediately following his performance, McCartney will return to the studio where he is rehearsing for his upcoming DRIVING USA Tour, which launches in Oakland on April 1.


John Travolta will present at the 74th Academy Awards® presentation. It will be his eighth appearance as an Oscar® show presenter.

Travolta has twice been nominated by the Academy in the Leading Actor category for "Saturday Night Fever" in 1977 and "Pulp Fiction" in 1994. He currently is in production on "Basic" and was most recently seen in "Swordfish" with Halle Berry. Travolta's other film credits include "Domestic Disturbance," "A Civil Action," "Primary Colors," "Face Off" and "Phenomenon."


Academy Award®-nominated actress Maggie Smith will make her fourth Oscar® show appearance as a presenter at the 74th Academy Awards.

Smith is nominated as Best Supporting Actress for her role as Constance, Countess of Trentham, in "Gosford Park." This marks Smith's sixth nomination. She won the Oscar for Leading Actress for her role in the 1969 film "The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie" and won Best Supporting Actress in 1978 for "California Suite."

Her other film credits include "A Room with a View," "The Secret Garden," "Richard III" and "Tea with Mussolini."

Smith, who just completed filming "Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood," recently starred in "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone."

Academy Award®-nominated actor Ian McKellen has been tapped to make his first Oscar show appearance as a presenter at the 74th Academy Awards®, producer Laura Ziskin announced today.

McKellen is nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role as the legendary wizard Gandalf in "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring." He was nominated as Best Actor for his performance as film director James Whale in the 1998 film "Gods and Monsters."

McKellen, whose other film credits include "Apt Pupil" and "Richard III," is preparing to step back into the role of Magneto in the "X-Men" sequel.

Actor Hugh Jackman is scheduled to make his first Oscar show appearance as a presenter at the 74th Academy Awards®, producer Laura Ziskin announced today.

Jackman, who stars with Meg Ryan in the Miramax film "Kate & Leopold," is set to reprise the role of Wolverine in the sequel to the 20th Century Fox film "X-Men."

His other film credits include "Swordfish," with John Travolta and Halle Berry, and "Someone Like You," co-starring Ashley Judd and Greg Kinnear.


Actor Nathan Lane will make his second Oscar show appearance as a presenter at the 74th Academy Awards®.

Lane's film credits include "The Birdcage," with Robin Williams. He also has lent his voice to numerous animated films including "The Lion King," "Stuart Little" and "Titan A.E."

Lane, who presented at the 68th Academy Awards, currently is working on "Stuart Little 2" and "Nicholas Nickleby." He also is finishing up his year-long, Tony Award-winning run on Broadway in "The Producers."

Academy Award® winner Helen Hunt will make her fourth Oscar show appearance as a presenter at the 74th Academy Awards®.

Hunt won the Oscar for Leading Actress for her role in the 1997 film "As Good As It Gets."

Her other film credits include "The Curse of the Jade Scorpion" with Woody Allen, "What Women Want" co-starring Mel Gibson and "Cast Away" with Tom Hanks.


Academy Award nominated actress Halle Berry will make her second appearance as an Oscar® show presenter for the 74th Academy Awards® Presentation, producer Laura Ziskin announced today.

Berry is nominated for an Oscar for her leading role in "Monster's Ball." She currently is in production on the latest James Bond feature and recently appeared in "Swordfish." Berry's other film credits include "X-Men," "Bulworth," "Losing Isaiah," "The Flintstones," "Strictly Business" and "Jungle Fever."

Actor Josh Hartnett has been tapped to present at the 74th Academy Awards®. It will be his first appearance as an Oscar® presenter.

Hartnett currently can be seen in "Black Hawk Down" and "40 Days and 40 Nights." His other film credits include "Pearl Harbor," "O" and "The Virgin Suicides."

Randy Newman and John Goodman are scheduled to perform on this year's Academy Awards® Telecast, producer Laura Ziskin announced today. They will perform Newman's Oscar-nominated song "If I Didn't Have You" from the animated film, "Monsters, Inc." for which Goodman provided the voice of "Sullivan."

Newman, who has received 16 Academy Award® nominations, will be making his seventh performance appearance on the telecast. His previously nominated songs include "A Fool in Love" from "Meet the Parents" (2000), "When She Loved Me" from "Toy Story 2" (1999) and "I Love to See You Smile" from "Parenthood" (1989). In 1998, Newman received a nomination in each of the three music categories: Original Dramatic Score for "Pleasantville," Original Musical or Comedy Score for "A Bug's Life" and Original Song "That'll Do" from "Babe: Pig in the City."

Academy Award-winning actor Kevin Spacey will make his fourth appearance as a presenter on the 74th Academy Awards® telecast.

Spacey has received two Oscars of his own, for his lead performance in "American Beauty" in 2000 and for his 1995 supporting role in "The Usual Suspects."

Spacey was most recently seen in "The Shipping News," will be seen next in "The Life of David Gale" and currently is producing "The United States of Leland" for his Trigger Street Productions. Spacey's other film credits include "K-PAX," "Hurlyburly," "L. A. Confidential," "Swimming with Sharks," "The Negotiator,"  "Seven" and "The Big Kahuna."

Actor-director Mel Gibson has been tapped to present at the 74th Academy Awards®, producer Laura Ziskin announced today. This will be Gibson's seventh appearance as a presenter at the Oscars®.

Gibson is a two-time Oscar® winner for directing and producing the 1995 Best Picture, "Braveheart." 

Gibson will be seen next in "We Were Soldiers," due out in March, and "Signs," to be released later in 2002. His other acting credits include "What Women Want," "The Patriot," "Payback," "Conspiracy Theory," "Ransom" and the "Lethal Weapon" and "Mad Max" series.

Academy Award® winner Denzel Washington is slated to make his seventh appearance as a presenter at the 74th Academy Awards®.

Washington is nominated for Best Actor for his role as undercover narcotics officer Alonzo Harris in the film "Training Day." This marks Washington's fifth Oscar® nomination. He won a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his portrayal of runaway slave Trip in the 1989 film "Glory."

His other film credits include "Remember the Titans," "The Hurricane," "Philadelphia," "Much Ado about Nothing," "Malcolm X" and "Cry Freedom."

Washington currently stars in the New Line film "John Q.," with James Woods and Ray Liotta.

Singer-songwriter Enya will perform for the first time at the 74th Academy Awards
®.

Enya will sing "May It Be" from "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring," which is nominated for Best Original Song.

Enya, whose total album sales to date have reached 60 million, has become an international success. Her latest album, "A Day Without Rain," has sold more than 6 million copies in the United States and won a Grammy Award in 2002.


Actor Tobey Maguire has been tapped to make his second Oscar show appearance as a presenter at the 74th Academy Awards®, producer Laura Ziskin announced today.

Maguire, whose credits include "Wonder Boys," "The Cider House Rules" and "The Ice Storm," previously presented at the 72nd Academy Awards.

He next stars as the title character in the action-adventure film "Spider-Man," with Willem Dafoe and Kirsten Dunst.

Actress Cameron Diaz has been tapped to present at the 74th Academy Awards
®, producer Laura Ziskin announced today. It will be her third appearance as a presenter at the Oscars®.

Diaz will be seen next in "The Sweetest Thing," due out in April, and "Gangs of New York," to be released later in 2002. Her other film credits include "Vanilla Sky," "Charlie's Angels," "Any Given Sunday," "There's Something about Mary," "The Mask" and "My Best Friend's Wedding."

Chris Connelly, Leeza Gibbons and Ananda Lewis have been set to co-host the Oscar arrivals show "On the Red Carpet: Oscars 2002," preceding the 74th Academy Awards
® on Sunday, March 24. This is the first Oscar Night® association for Lewis and Gibbons and the second for Connelly. All three correspondents will interview the nominees and celebrities as they walk down the red carpet.

Connelly is host of ESPN's "Unscripted with Chris Connelly" and is a correspondent for "20/20." Prior to ESPN, he was an on-air correspondent and editorial director of MTV News.

Leeza Gibbons is an anchor for "Extra" and formerly was host of her own show, "Leeza."

Lewis recently began hosting her own show, "The Ananda Lewis Show" and was previously a co-host on MTV's "TRL."

Singer-songwriter Sting will perform at the 74th Academy Awards
®. This will be his second time performing on the Oscar® show.

Sting will sing "Until . . ." from "Kate & Leopold," for which he is nominated in the Original Song category. At the 73rd Academy Awards, he sang "My Funny Friend and Me" from "The Emperor's New Groove," for which he also was nominated in the Original Song category.  

In addition to his music, this multi-talented artist has acted in diverse roles in over a dozen films that include "Quadrophenia," "Stormy Monday" and "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels," as well as performing on Broadway in Kurt Weill's "Threepenny Opera." Sting's last studio record, "Brand New Day," won awards for Best Pop Album and Best Pop Male Vocal Performance at the 2000 Grammy Awards.

Academy Award-winning designer Ann Roth will create the costumes for the 74th Academy Awards
Presentation, show producer Laura Ziskin announced today. Roth is a three-time Oscar® nominee, receiving nominations for her work in "Places in the Heart," "The English Patient" and "The Talented Mr. Ripley." She took home the Oscar for Best Costume Design in 1996 for her work in "The English Patient."

Roth is a prolific designer who began her career as a scenery painter for the Pittsburgh Opera Company. She has a long association with director Mike Nichols, which began on Broadway and continued to the big screen for films such as "Primary Colors," "The Birdcage," "Regarding Henry," "Postcards from the Edge" and "Working Girl." Her other film credits include "Finding Forrester," "In & Out," "Sabrina," "The Mambo Kings," "The Unbearable Lightness of Being," "Jagged Edge" and "Midnight Cowboy."

Roth continues to divide her time between stage and screen. She currently is designing the Metropolitan Opera's spring production of "Falstaff" and Nichols' upcoming "Angels in America" for HBO.

Multiple Grammy-award winner Faith Hill will perform at the 74th Academy Awards, producer Laura Ziskin announced today. This will be Hill's second time performing on the Oscar
® show and will mark her first public performance since September 21st, 2001. She will sing her recording of "There You'll Be" from "Pearl Harbor," written by Diane Warren, which is nominated in the Best Original Song category.

"I'm honored to have been asked to perform Diane's song on the Oscars," said Hill, "and I'm looking forward to being there again."

At the 72nd Academy Awards telecast, Hill participated in a song medley with Burt Bacharach, Garth Brooks, Ray Charles, Isaac Hayes, Queen Latifah and Dionne Warwick. She is one of the world's most loved performers, has sold 25 million records worldwide and has garnered ten #1 singles.

® winner Gwyneth Paltrow is slated to make her third appearance as an Oscar presenter at the 74th Academy Awards®, producer Laura Ziskin announced today.

Paltrow, who currently can be seen in Wes Anderson's "The Royal Tenenbaums," co-starring Gene Hackman and Anjelica Huston, won the Best Actress Oscar for her role in the 1998 film "Shakespeare in Love."

Her other film credits include "Shallow Hal," "The Anniversary Party," "The Talented Mr. Ripley" and "Great Expectations."

This summer, Paltrow will star in two films: "Possession," opposite Aaron Eckhart, and "A View from the Top," with Kelly Preston, Mark Ruffalo and Mike Myers.

Actor-writer Owen Wilson will present at the 74th Academy Awards
® Ceremony on March 24th, show producer Laura Ziskin announced today. This marks his first time presenting for the Academy Awards.

Wilson recently completed filming "I Spy" opposite Eddie Murphy and begins filming "Shanghai Knights" in March. He currently can be seen in "The Royal Tenenbaums," for which he and Wes Anderson have received an Oscar
® nomination for Best Screenplay Written Directly for the Screen. Wilson's other acting credits include "Zoolander," "Meet the Parents," "Shanghai Noon," "Bottle Rocket," "Behind Enemy Lines" and "Armageddon."

Cirque du Soleil
will present a unique performance at the 74th Academy Awards
®, show producer Laura Ziskin announced today. This will be the avant garde Cirque's first time performing on an Oscar telecast offering a "tailor-made" presentation.

"Cirque du Soleil will be performing a piece that is a salute to a particular aspect of film we will be honoring," said Ziskin. "I'm not going to say exactly what they're planning, but I can tell you that it will include a film element and will be spectacular and original."

For the first time, thirty artists from five Cirque du Soleil productions will come together on Oscar Night to perform the salute to music composed by Benoit Jutras and choreographed by Debra Brown.

Cirque du Soleil productions have been performed for nearly 30 million people worldwide. From humble beginnings as street performers, Cirque du Soleil, based in Montreal, Canada, offers a unique style of performance combined with original music and unusual costumes that make for an altogether new experience.

Actress Charlize Theron will present the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' Scientific and Technical Awards on Saturday, March 2, at the Regent Beverly Wilshire.

An Oscar
® statuette, the Gordon E. Sawyer Award, will be one of 25 awards presented at the gala black-tie dinner. It will go to Edmund M. Di Giulio for his lifetime of technological contributions to the industry.

Theron, who recently starred in Woody Allen's "The Curse of the Jade Scorpion," made her film debut in the 1996 feature "2 Days in the Valley." Her other film credits include "The Legend of Bagger Vance," "Celebrity" and "The Cider House Rules."

Theron will next be seen in "Waking up in Reno," with Billy Bob Thornton, Patrick Swayze and Natasha Richardson, and in "24 Hours," with Kevin Bacon, Stuart Townsend and Courtney Love.

Oscar
®-winning composer John Williams will return to the Oscar podium for the first time since 1975 to serve as music director for the 74th Academy Awards®, telecast producer Laura Ziskin announced today.  He will co-conduct with Mark Watters.

"It was a dream of mine to have John Williams be a part of this year's Academy Award
® telecast," Ziskin said.  "He is the absolute best at what he does.  His musicianship and showmanship will add incalculably to our show.

"John will be joined by Mark Watters, with whom he appeared at this year's Winter Olympics Opening Ceremonies, and I am pleased to welcome this wonderful musician as co-conductor for our event."

"It's a privilege to be conducting this year's Oscar orchestra as we inaugurate the new Kodak Theatre and celebrate the unifying power of film in a year that hopefully will be remembered as a time of progress and healing," Williams said.

This will be the third time Williams has conducted the Academy Awards
® orchestra, and the first time for Watters. Williams was Music Director in 1972 for the 45th Academy Awards® and in 1975 for the 48th.

Williams, who received two Original Score nominations for the 74th Academy Awards
®, has been nominated forty-one times. In 2000, at the 73rd Academy Awards®, he was nominated for "The Patriot," making him the most-nominated living person. He has been the recipient of five Oscars in music categories for "Fiddler on the Roof," "Jaws," "Stars Wars," "E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial" and "Schindler's List."  Williams has composed the music and served as music director for more than ninety films, including "A. I. Artificial Intelligence,"  "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone," "Star Wars Episode 1," "Saving Private Ryan," "Close Encounters of the Third Kind," "JFK," "Jurassic Park," "Home Alone," "Angela's Ashes," "The Accidental Tourist," "Raiders of the Lost Ark" and "Born on the Fourth of July."

Academy Award-winning actor Tom Hanks will present at the 74th Academy Awards
® Ceremony on March 24th, show producer Laura Ziskin announced today. This will be the tenth time that Hanks, who is also a governor of the Academy, has served as a presenter on the telecast.

Last year, Hanks was nominated for an Academy Award
® for the leading role in "Cast Away." He has been nominated five times and is a two-time Oscar® winner.  Hanks won consecutive Oscars in 1993 and 1994 for the leading roles in "Philadelphia" and "Forrest Gump," respectively. He currently is filming "Catch Me If You Can" and will be seen next in "The Road to Perdition" opposite Paul Newman. Hanks' other film credits include "Big," "Apollo 13," "Saving Private Ryan" and "A League of Their Own."

Actress-singer Jennifer Lopez will participate in her fifth Oscar
® Show as a presenter on the 74th Academy Awards® telecast, producer Laura Ziskin announced today.

Lopez made her feature film debut in the highly acclaimed "My Family, Mi Familia" and received considerable praise from the critics for her work in the title role of "Selena." She will be seen next in "Enough," directed by Michael Apted.  Her other film credits include "Money Train," "Out of Sight," "The Cell," "The Wedding Planner" and "Angel Eyes."

Nominations for the 74th Annual Academy Awards were announced today (Tuesday, February 12) by Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences President Frank Pierson and Oscar
® winner Marcia Gay Harden.

Pierson and Harden announced ten of the 24 categories at a 5:30 a.m. news conference attended by over 400 international media.

Academy members selected the nominees in their respective branches, with the exception of the Animated Feature, Foreign Language Film and Makeup categories, where nominations were selected by vote of screening committees.  All members select the Best Picture nominees.  The secret ballots were mailed to 5,739 members in early January and were returned directly to PricewaterhouseCoopers, the international accounting firm, for tabulation.

Official screenings of all pictures with a nomination will begin this weekend for members at the Academy's Samuel Goldwyn Theater.  Screenings in special categories also will be held in London, New York and San Francisco.

The Academy's entire active and life membership is eligible to select the winners in all categories, although in five of them - the two short film, the two documentary and the foreign language film categories - members can vote only after attesting they have seen all of the nominated films in those categories.

Bruce Vilanch has been named head writer for the 74th Academy Awards telecast. This will be the 13th time Vilanch has written for the Academy Awards. He won consecutive Emmys for his work on the 63rd and 64th Academy Award Presentations.

Vilanch is one of Hollywood's most sought-after comedy writers, who regularly writes for popular entertainers award shows and events. In addition to writing for the Academy Awards, he has also written for the SAG Grammy, Tony and Emmy Awards.

Academy Award-winning actress Marcia Gay Harden will make her first appearance as a presenter at the 74th Academy Awards®.

Harden received her first Academy Award nomination last year and won the Supporting Actress Oscar® for her portrayal of Lee Krasner, the artist wife of abstract expressionist painter Jackson Pollock, in "Pollock." She currently co-stars in the CBS Television series, "The Education of Max Bickford," and starred in last summer's Central Park presentation of "The Seagull." Harden's other film credits include "Space Cowboys," "Meet Joe Black," "The Spitfire Grill" and "Miller's Crossing."

Actor-director Ben Stiller has been tapped to present at the 74th Academy Awards®. This will be Stiller's second appearance as a presenter at the Oscars.

Stiller currently is shooting "Duplex" with co-star Drew Barrymore and currently can be seen in "The Royal Tenenbaums." His other film credits include "Zoolander," "Meet the Parents" and "There's Something About Mary."

Academy Award winner Benicio Del Toro will make his first Oscar® show appearance as a presenter at the 74th Academy Awards®.

Del Toro received the Oscar® for Best Supporting Actor last year honoring his performance in Steven Soderbergh's "Traffic." His other film credits include "Snatch," co-starring Brad Pitt; "The Pledge," with Jack Nicholson and "The Usual Suspects," opposite Kevin Spacey.

Del Toro will next star in the Paramount Pictures film "The Hunted," co-starring Tommy Lee Jones.

Academy Award-winning actress Julia Roberts will present at the 74th Academy Awards®. This will be Roberts' third appearance as an Oscar® show presenter.

Roberts received the Best Actress Oscar® last year for her portrayal of the title character in "Erin Brockovich." She also received nominations for her supporting role in "Steel Magnolias" in 1989 and for the leading role in "Pretty Woman" in 1990. Roberts can currently be seen in "Ocean's Eleven" and will be seen next in "Full Frontal." Her film credits include "America's Sweethearts," "Notting Hill," "My Best Friend's Wedding," "Something To Talk About" and "Stepmom."

Academy Award winner Russell Crowe will make his third appearance as a presenter at the 74th Academy Awards®.

Crowe won the Academy Award for Best Actor last year for his role as enslaved Roman general Maximus in Ridley Scott's "Gladiator." The previous year, Crowe received a Best Actor nomination honoring his performance in Michael Mann's drama "The Insider."

Crowe made his American film debut in the 1995 film "The Quick and the Dead" with Sharon Stone and Gene Hackman. He later went on to star in the Academy Award-winning movie "L.A. Confidential."

Crowe currently stars as Nobel Prize-winning mathematician John Forbes Nash in director Ron Howard's "A Beautiful Mind."

Edmund M. Di Giulio, one of the industry's foremost engineering minds, has been voted the Gordon E. Sawyer Award by the Board of Governors of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

The Award, an Oscar® statuette, will be presented at the Scientific and Technical Awards Dinner on Saturday, March 2, at the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel.

Established in 1981, the Sawyer Award is "presented to an individual in the motion picture industry whose technological contributions have brought credit to the industry." Di Giulio is the 16th recipient.

Perhaps best known for his part in the engineering and development of the Steadicam, Di Giulio has been active on various Academy subcommittees for many years and chaired the Academy's Scientific and Technical Awards Committee for five years.

Actor Robert Redford has been chosen to receive an Honorary Award by the Board of Governors of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

The citation will read: "Robert Redford - Actor, Director, Producer, Creator of Sundance, inspiration to independent and innovative filmmakers everywhere."

"Bob's dedication to independent filmmaking has had an enormously positive impact on the motion picture industry since he created Sundance 20 years ago, and young filmmakers for years to come will continue to benefit from the training that his institute provides and the world-class showcase that his festival offers," said Academy President Frank Pierson.

Since his acting debut in the 1962 drama "War Hunt," Redford has appeared in more than 35 films including "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid," "The Way We Were," "All the President's Men" and "The Sting," for which he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor in 1973.

After gaining success as an actor, Redford tried his hand at directing and won an Academy Award in his directorial debut for the film "Ordinary People" in 1980. He received two nominations in 1994 for directing and producing Best Picture nominee "Quiz Show."

Honorary Awards, in the form of Oscar® statuettes, are given by the Academy for "exceptional distinction in the making of motion pictures or for outstanding service to the Academy." Previous recipients include Ernest Lehman, Stanley Donen, Deborah Kerr, Federico Fellini, Ralph Bellamy, Michael Kidd, Alex North and Hal Roach.

Redford's Honorary Award will be presented, along with other Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2001, on Sunday, March 24, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland.

Actor Sidney Poitier has been voted an Honorary Award by the Board of Governors of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

The award, an Oscar® statuette, is being given to Poitier "for his extraordinary performances and unique presence on the screen, and for representing the motion picture industry with dignity, style and intelligence throughout the world."

"When the Academy honors Sidney Poitier," Pierson said, "it honors itself even more."

In a career that has spanned more than 50 years, Poitier has been nominated for two leading actor Oscars, in 1958 for his role in "The Defiant Ones," and in 1963 for "Lilies of the Field," for which he won the statuette.

He has appeared in over 40 films since 1949, including such classics as "Blackboard Jungle," "To Sir, with Love," "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner," "A Raisin in the Sun" and "In the Heat of the Night."

So many governors made comments seconding Poitier's nomination that it took Actors Branch Governor Tom Hanks' remark - "When I was a young actor, I worked as a bellboy. I carried Mr. Poitier's bags once, and he tipped me five bucks!" - to finally bring the proposal to a vote.

Academy rules state that Honorary Awards, in the form of Oscar® statuettes, may be given for "exceptional distinction in the making of motion pictures or for outstanding service to the Academy." Previous recipients include Paul Newman, Satyajit Ray, Michelangelo Antonioni, Akira Kurosawa, Sophia Loren, Walter Lantz, James Stewart and Henry Fonda.

Poitier's Honorary Award will be presented at the 74th Academy Awards Presentation on March 24, 2002, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will present an Award of Commendation to Rune Ericson at the Scientific and Technical Awards dinner on Saturday, March 2.

Ericson is being honored for his ground-breaking efforts on and dedication to the development of the Kodak Super 16mm film format for motion pictures.
