We are doing a fresh, sophisticated makeup. The girls are young; they are all gorgeous in the first place, so we don’t want to disguise them. We want the makeup to suit the nature of Herrera’s clothing: sophisticated, elegant, but there’s still a sporty feeling to it as well; it’s not uptight. So the whole approach is to look elegant, but relaxed.

I've used a bright coral red mouth, a little flush on the cheeks - a coral bronze shade - and a spark around the eye. We don’t want to change the faces too much, just enhance them.

What are you highlighting?

The lips is the most important thing of the face this time and the coral shade actually was inspired by one of the dresses, but it also works well with the violet, the saffron and the black and the patterns in the collection.

On the eyelids I’ve used a rose-gold. It's like a transparent, slightly shiny cream shadow that is applied with the fingers, but there’s not a very strong impact on the eye, just a little flash of light and soft brown mascara.

Do you suggest any changes to take this makeup to the street?

It’s a very simple look. Any woman can just put on a bright lipstick. It’s also an easy makeup you can wear from day unto night.
