Honey Twigg for Anand Jon

The concept:
"I was very influenced by Anand Jon's fabrics, and the colors, the embroidery and beading on the dresses, and I wanted the make up to reflect this lightness as well as the drama. So I decided to go with  something also very reflective and light, but
still dramatic."

The approach:
"What I’m doing is using a very blushed face and then applying some shimmer which, I hope, also reflects the shimmer in the fabrics. I’m also trying to capture their ethereal floating quality in the make up by applying shine to certain parts of the face and also some sequins. I am applying bronze under the eye and also an iridescent glitter. I’m blowing a little bit of glitter all over the face just for that gleam as they walk down the runway. The light will catch it at certain points."

What are you highlighting? "I’m highlighting mostly the eyes. I think it’s more of a total feeling, a dreamy quality."

A tip: "You can be dramatic and still be light and I think that also part of this line the clothing is very dramatic but it’s very simple and easy to wear, very light-hearted."
