The concept: "The feeling of this look is that of nature. The skin fresh and clean, quite dewy. As far as the colors of the eyes go I’m thinking of orchids or something very organic."

The approach:
"The color of the eyes being very shiny violet with highlights, but still transparent. The skin is breathing, dewy, we are not using base, and the cheeks are nice warm rosy. The whole

make-up is minimal but there’s color on the eye. The importance is concentrated on the shine on the eye, the kind of shellacked effect that is also going into the clothing. We are using the eye to show that glossy shellacked plastic effect present in the fabric.

We are using no black, no lines, just very fresh, organic make-up, complementing the beautiful fabrics of Angel’s dresses.

Shine on the lips, some bare color with highlights, the same as the cheek. It’s all a monochromatic feel."

Louis Angelo Talks Hair

The concept: "Angel wanted the hair romantic and light and airy. Some of the girls have a lot of long hair, so we are making it very wavy, but in the middle, on the crown, it’s smooth and pulled down low. In this way, most of the hair will flow as they walk down the runway. If we left all the hair loose it would be too heavy and Angel wanted it to be light and airy."

The approach: "We made these wires on which we weaved the hair around to get it really wavy, really fast. Then, to smooth out the top lock of hair we had to use the blower and the press. Then, this straight hair, is pulled back in a little twist so it lays on top of the waves."
