You are highlighting ... "This time the stress is on the whole face, although I don’t normally do so. It’s on the eyes, cheeks and lips. The whole thing is based on very earthy, natural colors, terracotta, bronze and coral. There are no bright tones. The lips are very are very shiny, sexy, glossy with just a a hint of terracotta."

Serge Normant Talks Hair

The concept: "We are doing something quite sexy, very simple, not too though of. A little twist between Jill Saint-John and Bianca Jagger but kind of very loose. Nothing retro but the bottom side is quite low and just a lot of texture, kind of broken, almost as if the girls had done the hair themselves. Very sexy and with movement."

The approach: "We did not set the hair too much. We basically blow-dried it having applied something to protect the hair before. A little conditioner afterwards and, basically, that's it. Nothing greasy, not too much hairspray and quite low-maintenance on the whole."

NOTE: French-born Serge Normant has done the hair for the Spring 2000 Carolina Herrera, Ralph Lauren and Christian Lacroix collections. Julia Roberts and Demi Moore are two of his star clients. His work has appeared, among others, on the cover of Harper's Bazaar.
