Make-up time at
                         Randolph Duke.

New York

Once in New York I keep in touch with Teresa. We usually arrange to meet backstage before the different shows she's doing. I shoot pictures of her as she is being made up and watch as other media interview her. She acts graciously and forthcoming with all.

At the end of the week, after the Randolph Duke show, we make a balance of the last few days as we walk on the street on her way to a fitting.

What kind of week would you say you have had until now?

A busy one. You know how hectic it all is during show season. Tomorrow is the last day. It would have been today if the hurricane had not come (Note: she refers to the unwelcome storm that hit New York and soaked part of the 7th On Sixth tents affecting fashion week), but some shows were cancelled yesterday due to it.

Of the shows you’ve done until now, is there any one you particularly enjoyed?

Alexander McQueen’s was great, and I loved the clothes at Randolph Duke; his were my favorite dresses.

Tell us a little about the McQueen show?

It was on the riverside. He made us walk in the water and he had the girls sort of flying around. It was just amazing! The whole vibe was really good: the music, the clothes...

The hair and make-up were also interesting. They made all the girls look the same... I liked it a lot.

Among the clothes that you wore at McQueen, which outfit did you like the most?

There was this pair of red pants and a jacket. The pants really fit me well. Most of the stuff in the show you can’t really wear in the street, but those pants where nice wearable ones.

Where are you going to now?

I’m going to a fitting and then to the Calvin Klein show.

Now that we are strolling down 41st street I wonder, how do you usually get around in New York?

I usually walk or take a cab. But most of the time I walk because it is so easy to do so all over the Big Apple.

What is your favorite cuisine?

I enjoy Japanese, Thai and Vietnamese food.

Your favorite drink?

I like many, but if I’d have to choose one, I would say water.

Can you recommend us a restaurant here in New York?

Yes, one called Indochine. It’s on Lafayette Street.

Any advice for girls who maybe want to be like you, Teresa?

(Laughs) I don’t know if there are girls out there who want to be like me.

Well, I’m sure there are many who would like to be a successful model as you are.

Some advice? Just stay true to who you are.

After New York is over, what will your schedule be?

I’m going to rest for a couple of days, and then it’s off to Milan...

So you still have some continent hopping to do?

Yes, and after that Paris.
